Creative Writing

In my class each morning, I do 15 minutes of creative writing prompts with my students in Creole.  Their responses always blow me away.  I think they should be shared with all of you.  So, I would like to do a series and share them with you.

If you could give your family any one gift, what would you give them?

I would give my family work.  That way, my parents would have something to do and they would stop fighting.

If you could have one wish, what would it be?

I would ask God to make it rain in Jubilee.  Then, the rice would grow and I would be able to eat more.
