Adventure is Out There!

If you've ever seen the children's movie Up, then you will recognize the phrase "Adventure is out there!"  That was our motto this past weekend.

Saturday, we took motorcycles to our favorite secluded beach that we call "Pebble Beach".  It is a 45 minute drive over dirt roads, rocks, and mountains.

With three people to a motorcycle, it can be slightly nerve wrecking and just a little uncomfortable.  

You sure can't be the view though.

Angela, Becca, and I joked about wanting to find hidden pirate treasure.  Although we didn't find any treasure, we did find a really awesome cave inside a bunch of rocks.

We called it our mermaid cave.

As much as I love working in Jubilee, it is a difficult place.  It is emotionally and physically draining.  Being able to escape to a naturally beautiful and peaceful beach for a few hours is a huge blessing.

Spending quality time with new friends is also a huge blessing!
