Phil is a plumber and in about a month has already completed tons of projects. He has lots of exciting goals and ideas for how he can use his skills to help others here in Haiti. Every time I see Phil, he is busy helping with one thing or another and he always has a smile on his face. Angela is a nurse. She loves taking care of wounds and injuries that would make most people cringe and run the other direction. Like her husband, I rarely see her without a smile on her face. She is helping as an "on-call" nurse for the clinic in Jubilee.
It never ceases to amaze me how God can seamlessly put people into your life and turn strangers into close friends. I've already had lots of fun adventures with them like trips to the beach, learning to slack line, and taking motorcycle rides through the countryside.
